Preparation
Before your treatment can begin, our dentists will meet with you to identify your key concerns and desired outcome for your teeth before conducting a thorough oral examination where a state-of-art 3D camera will record an optical impression of your teeth and jaw.
Restoration
Cerec restorations are created by your dentist, right in front of your eyes. The design is sent wirelessly to a processor which then cuts the restoration from a solid block of material, carefully shaded to accurately match your own teeth. Aftercare
Cerec crowns and veneers are incredibly versatile restorations and can last over 30 years if taken care of correctly.
Avoid sticky, hard, or chewy foods for at least 24 to 48 hours after your procedure as this can damage your new restorations as the adhesive hardens. After your treatment, it is normal to feel some sensitivity for up to two weeks – this can be managed with pain medication until the discomfort subsides.
To ensure your Cerec restorations last as long as possible, ensure you follow a robust oral health routine, including brushing twice daily, flossing daily, and continue to visit your dentist regularly to check the condition of your teeth and restorations.
